Greens Assemble is a home for practical projects built by Green Party supporters.
It exists to develop, publish and share useful work across software, research, public data, campaigning, organising and communications.
The platform is still at an early stage. Its first major public project is the Investment Navigator, which explores disclosed public pension fund holdings, company exposure and evidence-led research. It begins with Redbridge Pension Fund and is designed to support data from more local authorities over time.

These are areas of intended work, not a claim that every kind of project already exists on the site. Greens Assemble is being built incrementally as useful projects emerge.
Publishing and participation
Greens Assemble is also becoming a place where supporters can publish work, updates, events and research of their own.
Not everything published on the platform will necessarily appear on the main Greens Assemble feed. The intention is to make room both for editorially promoted work and for material published by individual contributors on their own pages.
Over time, the aim is for Greens Assemble to become a shared working platform: somewhere practical projects can be developed, discussed, published and reused rather than disappearing into private documents, chat groups or one-off campaigns.
Green Power Fraction
Greens Assemble is a project of Green Power Fraction.
Green Power Fraction is a conceptual work in progress; a network of Green Party supporters interested in practical projects that can increase Green organisational and political capacity.
It is not a conventional faction built around a single ideology or policy programme. People involved may disagree about policy, political strategy and priorities. The common element is a willingness to do useful work and innovate for impact.
That work might involve campaigning, software, research, data analysis, organising, communications or other practical projects.
A reasonable shorthand is that Green Power Fraction is intended to be less a think tank than a think-and-do network, with Greens Assemble providing the infrastructure through which much of that work can happen.
