The Green Party of England and Wales has fantastic ambitions to be as democratic as possible and to promote member engagement in policymaking. However it is clearer than ever that the structures in place are no longer fit for purpose and need urgent revision.
A number of grassroots groups have sprung up to address this and there are staff and formal bodies also engaged in this work.
Democracy Hub is here to
connect these groups so they can be more effective
promote effective, experienced candidates to internal party positions
promote a constructive, uniting party culture
