The work-rate and enthusiasm of Redbridge's first 5 ever Green councillors is breathtaking. So much so that I try to help where possible for fear that they'll exhaust themselves.
Wanstead Village Cllr Sue Whitehead has a story to tell about motions and amendments to Council about the Redbridge pension fund. She can tell you the details, but the upshot is that she got the Council to disclose a complex spreadsheet with nearly 6000 entries... which she then passed to me (after checking that the info was legally public).
That's why this website now consolidates those holdings and displays evidenced research into some of the exposures to fossil fuels, tobacco, suppliers to the Israeli military and other issues.
There's plenty to talk about there, and more articles will follow. But the navigator is built specifically so that future disclosures from Redbridge, and from other councils, will be accessible through the same navigator.
So if you're not in Redbridge, please do ask your council for a complete disclosure and let me know if they pony up!
